Our personal meet and greet at Marris Barn has had to become contactless for the foreseeable future. There is a meet and greet laminated document in the kitchen at Marris barn.

Please plan any online food deliveries for after your arrival time. However on occasion (with prior notice) we can usually accommodate alternative plans.

Departure is at 10.00am. We appreciate completed feedback forms - your thoughts and suggestions are very important to us.

Welcome pack

All our guests receive a complimentary bottle of customised wine on arrival.
You will find milk in the fridge and tea, coffee and sugar in the kilner jars in the kitchen. We supply coffee cafetieres.
We leave starter packs of fairy liquid, dishwasher tablets, loo rolls, soaps, etc
All beds will be made up on arrival.
We supply all towels and bath mats, plus oven gloves and tea towels.
In addition at Marris Barn we supply pool towels and pool robes.

Painting

If you are an artist or aspiring artist, do bring your painting equipment with you. All our properties provide wonderful vistas for painting.

Parking

There is a car park and a lockable cycle store at Marris Barn with ample car parking for all our Marris Barn guests.
Parking at Marris Cottage is on the roadside opposite the cottage.
Parking at Little Walk Cottage is on gravel adjacent to the cottage. There is also a lockable cycle store.

Beach Cottage has an allocated, marked car parking space below the cottage.

Access to the grounds

There is no access to the grounds at Thorganby Hall, however guests are welcome to request the use of our tennis court.
The Lincolnshire Wolds is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and there is also a good network of public bridleways and footpaths surrounding all our properties.
There is a map of very local walks around the farm in each property.

Fishing

There is a small lake on the farm stocked with trout and you are very welcome to request to fly fish. We don't charge for this (the water can sometimes be covered with blanket weed). We simply request that you keep one good-sized trout during your stay and put all other caught fish back.

BBQs

All Thorganby holiday properties have brick built BBQs. Please bring your charcoal with you. Beach Cottage has a small metal freestanding BBQ located in the summer house.
